I am a IT Business Analyst who has worked with clients from diverse industries and markets in the past four years. I enjoy working closely with clients, vendors and cross functional teams to come up with highly usable IT solutions that improve business functions.
I like to think of myself as a geek who understands business - someone who is as comfortable writing or debugging code as he is defining and negotiating requirements with clients or training users on new systems. I believe that technology can be applied to a lot of areas to bring about discipline, efficiency and value addition. I am aware of the mostly intangible nature of IT, the very tangible (and accountable) nature of IT investments, and unlimited nature of user wants (not needs). I strive to bring about a balance between these conflicting factors and maximize the return on IT investments through detailed business analysis, effective documentation, clever stakeholder management and by being a positive influence on the team dynamics on both sides of the fence - business as well as IT.
Identifying problem areas and the real needs of a business, formulating and implementing a long-term solution in the most cost and time efficient manner is what excites me. I am confident of working through large or complex projects and delivering a solution exceeding requirements.
I aspire to work on challenging projects as an Analyst or Consultant in the areas of ERP, CRM, Security, Enterprise Systems or IT Infrastructure.
