About Nicole Holmes

Nicole Holmes is a freelance graphic designer located in Portland, Maine. Nicole graduated with honors from MECA in 2014 with a degree in Graphic Design and works as the Digital Media Specialist & Ass...istant Designer at MECA; she also takes on freelance design projects. As a student at MECA, Nicole completed three design internships; worked collaboratively to design identities for both MECA and community events; submitted work to competitions, for which she achieved a semi-finalist and a winner entry; completed freelance work for companies in different industries; and had an active role as a member of MECA’s student group Maine Type Lab. After graduation, Nicole was the Designer at angela adams design house before moving onto her role at MECA. Her freelance design work consists of the design of logos, identities, advertisements, business web and print collateral, and social media creation and strategy. Her clients have included Agile Therapeutics, Banded Horn Brewing Company, Gallery Leather Company, the City of Cape Elizabeth, Maine International Film Festival, the Ladies Adventure Club, Periodontics, P.C., Portland Bach Festival, Portland Press Hotel, Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce, Pulp + Wire, and The Sunrise Guide.
