About Nicolás Cerquera
My main objective is to develop unique perspectives for the integration of technologies into our environment. Currently, I am a master student in Energy Science at Carnegie Mellon University. I'm see...king to broaden my knowledge in energy industry to pursue engineering design positions in development of sustainable energy generation projects. Most recently, I spent three years as field manager where I contributed to the installation of hydro-power generation units. In this role, I learned to manage human, technical, and financial resources to take projects to completion. I developed communication skills by leading on a daily basis teams of up to a hundred (100) technicians, while also fulfilling milestones established by main shareholders. I'm passionate about implementation of technologies and its effect on developing sustainable societies. Therefore, I have complemented my masters engineering coursework with sustainable design and innovation classes from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and sculpture and installation art from the College of Fine Arts.
