Ruby on Rails/HTML/CSS Course
30
Ruby on Rails is the perfect first coding course for any age or professional background. Once learned, you can enhance your professional skills or just have a great hobby that can help you make websites for yourself, friends, or family. I know people from all industries, including stay at home parents who have learned Ruby on Rails to allow them to do side projects to earn additional income for their families.
Coding might seem like a daunting experience. Trust me, I know! Two years ago, I completely retooled and learned how to code with zero (seriously, absolutely none) experience with programming or understanding of how computers really work.
I can provide a weekly course that will walk you from Zero to Hero in what HTML is, what a server is, what a programming language is, how to build a Ruby on Rails website, and how to host a website. This could be start to finish.
Or I can provide an hour long overview of what Ruby on Rails is and give you a roadmap of where to go.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Basically, I can tailor it to what you are looking to gain from programming.
Training & Qualifications
I was a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University where I taught students the very basics of web programming. In my spare time, I work with entrepreneurs who are trying to enhance their technical understanding. Teaching is truly my passion and proficiency.
I also work at PNNL as a Software Engineer.
