Basic woodwork 4 a specific project
I'm an Austin TX based artist, and I need to make a specific easel-frame to go on my computer desk. This frame will support my drawing board on top, but be sturdy to house my scanner or External Harddrives underneath.
I have plans drawn for what I imagine should be a pretty basic yet-sturdy frame, made out of 2x4s and screws. I will purchase all of the supplies, but what I lack are tools to make it with, the space in which to make it, a vehicle to get them from the Lowes/HomeDepot, but most importantly I lack the experienced eye to at my plans and say "Oh this would work better if you use THIS kind of joint/screw/wood" Or "yikes, this is just a damn mess."
If interested, maybe we can meet for coffee and I can show you what I've got in mind. (or I can just email my plans) Willing to compensate a whole pile of "Simbi," I just don't know what a fair amount would be. We can talk about it! Thank you very much.
