Math is a lot more fun when it becomes intuitive rather than rote memorization. I will show you why math works the way it does from a perspective of logic and the real world. I am happy to help with everything from algebra, trig, and intro calculus to multivariate calculus, linear algebra, discrete math, partial differential equations, etc. I am also happy to tutor intro level statistics, including Bayesian statistics.
Training & Qualifications
I'm an engineer, I've taken far too many math classes and loved/craved them all the while. I have always asked why when presented with critical formulas I was expected to memorize, helping me develop a very intuitive understanding of the math and its applications. When I forgot the equations, I derived them from first principles and solved the problems. I took every math class at my university and actively learn more math regularly. I warn you, I'm enough of a math geek to get you excited about equations.
