1 - 3 hour lecture on the fundamentals of Design in character animation. Hi! My name is Nak and I'm a director at Disney Jr. If you have ever wondered why you felt different emotions watching Disney, Pixar, and other animated works, this is designed to help you understand the fundamentals of Design, Cinematography, and the power of story.
This is for anyone who loves movies / animated shows and would like to expand their understanding in visual literacy.
This three part lecture will begin with elements of character design, how they are created, move into the power of story in visual form, and finish with a lesson in cinematography.
Training & Qualifications
Director at Disney jr and have taught classes, programs, and workshops. Recently I did as lecture at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Graduated from CalArts Character Animation.
