Advice and Support for New Moms
I've got an amazing, sweet, fun toddler now, but not too long ago I had a challenging newborn. I've very recently experienced the challenges of having an infant, and I'm here to tell you it gets better! Talk to me about your struggles with sleep, nursing , allergies, getting housework done, things generally not going to plan, etc. and I'll lend a listening ear and could provide some advice if you like. I can also give advice to moms- to- be to help gently prepare you for the amazing whirlwind that is motherhood.
Talk to me as well if you're looking for a listening ear in the midst of disaster. I can't totally relate to that, but I'd still love to help you vent and brainstorm solutions to parenting issues.
Training & Qualifications
I'm a stay at home mom to an almost two year old boy. I attempted an unmedicated birth, but after several hours at 10cm dilated, I ended up having a C-section. Two weeks later we landed back in the hospital for 16 days for IV antibiotics after baby got a bad infection. That ended fine though, and he was a happy and healthy infant otherwise. I nursed him until 12 months. He has milk and egg allergies. He didn't sleep through the night until 11 months old. I'd be happy to talk about any of these experiences with you to help you cope with your own challenges!
