Instructional philosophy:
Safety is the top priority. I insist on safe, consistent, and professional habits in all students of all levels, from day 1. We'll spend ample time learning from prior accident reports to help explain why everything we learn is important.
Efficiency. I work hard to ensure an efficient use of our time in the air and on the ground, saving you money and time.
Ground-up, building block approach. Understanding the fundamentals and being able to execute them effortlessly before progressing to the next level is key. (An example of this would be understanding exactly what happens when you increase the throttle and being able to apply that knowledge to a simple procedure such as accelerating the aircraft in level flight.)
Fun, rewarding, challenging! All of this sounds pretty serious, and it is, but let's not forget that flying is fun! Each time in the air should be a challenging, yet highly rewarding and fun experience.
