Not-your-grandma's Piano Lessons

Did your mom make you take piano lessons as a kid? Mine did, and I'm sure I don't have to tell you how unappealing all that repetition and discipline can be. But now you're grown-up, you know how to use the internet and learn new things. Why not apply your maturity to learning piano? And I don't mean following books with little illustrations and willing out worksheets. Well. Maybe worksheets. If you wanna learn to play Beethoven like a pro, find another teacher. But if you're trying to play keys in a band, write more complex music, or use a midi keyboard in your electronic music, I'm your girl. We'll focus on chords and get you playing some songs you like to get you acquainted with the piano before we get into the mechanics of music.
Training & Qualifications
I have a BA in Music from Regis University and I'm working on my Dalcroze music method certification. I've played in multiple rock bands, my collegiate jazz band, and I have been an active singer songwriter for almost a decade.
