I am kind of a new age techno geek. I'm a senior level systems administrator and designer. I've worked in computer since the 1960s. I still keep current with Windows, Linux, and OpenVMS. There are not too many problems I cannot solve. I'm also a photographer I specialize in landscapes I live in an ideal area in the southwest for doing amazing landscapes. I'm also a certified massage therapist with 20 years plus experience. I also developed and teach when there's interest an introductory class to massage for couples, when I teach the class I prefer the people be in pairs and know the person they're working with. It's just easier if you don't start out with a stranger as a partner. All of the material for the massage class is on www.grawolf.com. I've also been a contractor specializing in remodeling old homes (pre-Civil War). In 2011 I moved back to New Mexico from Pennsylvania and found that my house had been destroyed by vandals. So I rebuilt the house pretty much while living in it. I live in a rural environment and have little contact as possible "with the "civilized world". I just prefer quiet, and wildlife, and hundred mile wide panoramas to living in a major city. A friend of mine recently said when I complained of being being tired "of course you are every day is a survival experience where you're located". I prefer it that way I don't get bored. I guess my biggest claim to fame is I'm on knowledgefile. I'm a student of history, archaeology, and geology. I am currently involved in wildlife advocacy, I have been involed in itentional community. The polyamoury movement, headonsism, and Wica. At the age of nine I became aware of history, in 1953 during the Korean War, that war in general was wasteful and destructive to everyone connected with it. I ask a question which has yet to be answered. why?
I have a lot of knowledge in a lot of areas and because of my age most people believe somehow I became an idiot. nothing really happened to my brain I just became a corporate liability due to my age and was forced into retirement. I was skewing their medical insurance rates, also unlike when I was in my 20s I actually used it. I also took all my vacation time, so I was classified as a non-team player.
My diverse experiences are because I am experiential - if something interests me I go try it.
Peace and long life
