I am a licensed cosmetologist since 2006, and a licensed cosmetology instructor since 2013.

I started my career in 2001 at a beauty supply store, then after completing Cosmetology school in 2006, I spent seven years as a stylist in various types of salons, from mens, full service, great clip...s, and even owning a salon at one point. I consistently assumed positions of educating co-workers on product knowledge, processes, and sales techniques. I returned to school in 2011 to get my Associates Arts of Education with a focus on science to pair with my beauty knowledge. After graduating in 2013 I accepted a position at Nordstrom as a business manager for Cle de Peau Beaute. I was successful in achieving all of my counter goals by increasing the counter sales by 100%, and also being recognized nationally as the highest increasing Cle de peau Nordstrom counter on several occasions. I recently made a career switch to healthcare/fashion into the world of eyecare managemnet. I am challenged daily and still get to enjoy fashion! I enjoy working with customers, and helping them find the best products for their needs.show more
