As a software developer, it is my goal to create games and applications that engage, enlighten, and enchant players and users.
In my games, I accomplish this by providing a unique experience that maximizes interaction with, and influence upon, the storyline and environment, stimulating players mentally using a variety of methods focusing on deductive reasoning and problem solving, and captivating them with refreshing artistic style and compelling narrative.
In other applications, I plan to accomplish the same by designing clean and intuitive user interfaces that allow the user to focus on the task at hand, focusing on software that is informative or educational in nature, and providing a polished look and feel along with reliable and responsive performance that will give users the "wow" factor they crave.
Some examples of companies that I feel have accomplished similar goals very well are Double Fine Productions, Chair Entertainment, Amanita Design, Playdead, Valve and too many others to list without running out of memory. I credit my inspiration and continuing drive to the creative minds from these companies and the players who support them.
