Growing up in an urban area with the passing of both parents as a teenager, I had to step in the face of adversity to take care of my younger siblings, attended college full-time, and worked 3 jobs. However, I continued to face challenges with strength and determination. I have learned that success has as much to do with gaining independence and becoming self-sufficient as it does hard work. I am committed to giving back to help empower the communities in ways that add prosperity.
