Pick fruit from your tree

10

10 per unit - - Posted Mar 23, 2017

I will use my own equipment (ladders, buckets, harvester) to pick the ripe fruit from one of your home fruit trees. In exchange, I will accept 10 Simbi and half the harvest. 1 laden tree = 1 unit

If you'd rather get creative, I'll turn it into jam, fruit leather, preserves, or pickles, and give you a few jars in exchange for your harvest. I'm an experienced canner and homesteader, and I use only safe and sanitary methods of preservation that are approved by the USDA and National Center for Home Canning and Food Preservation. Additionally, the only pectin I use is activated by calcium rather than sugar, so I'm able to make fruit spreads and preserves sweetened by sugar alternatives, or with no sweetener at all!

About Liz M

Born and raised in the Bay Area, by a family that passed down some valuable old folkways and skills. I studied Biology in college, have worked in a variety of industries, and am an obsessive hobbyist... in certain areas. I indulge a major focus on urban homesteading, disaster preparedness, food (growing, cooking, storing, and preserving), and traditional hand crafts. I'm a parent to two boys, still in elementary school. Part of my parenting involves teaching them the older ways of doing things, as well. show more
