Everyone needs someone in their life who "gets" them. Someone who goes beyond offering suggestions and platitudes. Someone who provides support without judgement. I will listen and give advice to parents or other family members who have a person with a disability in their circle. I am the mother of 2 sons with IEP's and I am finishing my 30th year as a special education teacher. I know what it's like because I live it. I want you to know that you are not alone, that you are a good parent, and that it will all be OKAY (eventually). We can chat in person or by phone.

Special education teacher with 30 years of experience at all levels from pre-K to post secondary. Mother to 2 sons with disabilities.
