All cells emit sound as a consequence of their metabolic process but can be become disrupted by toxic substances, emotional traumas, pathogens or long term exposure to noise pollution. Sound healing finds its access through resonance, the frequency of vibration that is most natural to a specific organ. In sound healing, resonance principals are employed to harmonize cells that have been imprinted with disruptive frequencies.

The Aboriginal tribe of Australia was the first to introduce sound healing followed by the Egyptians and Greeks. Today, people like Dr. James Gimzewski of UCLA are pioneering a new science called Sonocytology which maps the pulsations of the cell, thus identifying the "song of the cell". A Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Gimzewski hopes to use this knowledge to identifying healthy cells as well as treat unhealthy cells.
