“Try leaving this world a little better than you found it” has been my daily mantra since I joined the Scouts of Lebanon at the age of six. I grew up learning to give back to my community, and since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamt of changing the world. Through the Scouts of Lebanon, and later the Rotaract Club, I continued deepening my commitment, and today I remain focused on making people’s lives better, easier, and more enjoyable.
I’ve always been a craft person, interested in making things. My desire to learn and explore led me to major in Graphic Design in my undergrad, and to pursue a Master in Interaction Design at California College of the Arts.
I shifted to Interaction Design because I love people. I love observing the things people do, and learn about our motivations, intentions, attitudes, and needs. I love seeing how people engage with the world and how we evolve, change, and adapt. I love to explore what makes us wake up in the morning, what are our biggest fears, what are our dreams, what do we live for, what makes our eyes shine bright...
I value honesty, trust, loyalty, ambition, passion, hard-work, commitment, and teamwork. If I’m not at my desk brainstorming new projects, I can be found outdoors. I love to engage: camping, hiking, skiing, rock climbing... On other days, I visit museums, go to the movies, or attend the latest design talks.
My dream is to join a company that is working for people, aiming to serve and improve quality of life. As a designer and humanist, I want to ensure that all people are integrated into society, living with dignity and respect, with safety and security.
