I have two copies of several poetry collections.
I accidentally bought second copies.
That's why I'd like to mail random books of modern poetry to fellow Simbis within the United States and Canada. I can probably do other countries, too; ask me about it, and I'll check S&H costs online.
The book will be mailed via media mail, so please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.
If you have specific interests, let me know.
The poetry will not rhyme.
Most of it is 21st century poetry. Some of it is late 20th century.
I like leaving poetry collections in different spaces where I can relax and savor language. Poetry reminds me how to slow down; how to read for the pleasure of reading. I have a strong preference for poems about nature and change, although I also seek collections about family, culture, and mental illness. I believe reading poetry makes for better poetry writing, and poetry writing makes for a happier brain...so why not read poetry?
Training & Qualifications
I attended graduate school in a lovely creative writing program. I studied in several graduate-level poetry courses. I've published poetry in literary journals. I've won poetry awards. I've got taste, yo.
