About Kerry Bisset
I am currently a support engineer for MAGMA Foundry Technologies. I have been gaining experience in nearly all casting processes with various different alloys. I have a great passion for the foundry... industry. I enjoy working with all students and getting them exciting about the foundry industry. With the rise of technology, I look to incorporate that into the foundry world. As an undergraduate, I have volunteered as delegates to numerous conferences, school activities, and student societies. I served as president for the UAB Chapter as well as a board member for the Birmingham Chapter for the American Foundry Society. My expertise is in metal casting and metal casting simulation. I utilize MAGMAsoft to conduct research and help solve casting defects. My internship at Alabama Copper & Bronze pushed my 3-D modeling skills beyond the majority of those around me, as well as developed my understanding of computational fluid dynamic simulations. It is hard to stop someone with a drive in them. I will not quit until the job is finished.show more
