I'm in my second year as the Project Coordinator for the City of Portland Street Tree Inventory, which is a massive citizen science project that provides data for management of Portland's street trees.
I also do some pet/housesitting especially in the summer and around the holidays. For fun, I like bouldering, painting, hiking and am even making a run at competitive weightlifting. I also enjoy cooking, although I'm definitely overshadowed by my husband, who is head chef at a popular Japanese restaurant in town. I moved to Oregon from Texas when I was 18 and have lived in Portland since 2002.
