Most savory cooking requires a fundamental understanding of knife skills. We've all seen a celebrity chef dice an onion, create perfectly symmetrical julienned carrots or zest a lemon in record time. Without mastery of the basics, your culinary progress will be significantly slowed. I can teach you proper knife grip, safety, proper ergonomics, the anatomy and maintenance of the home knives you have and clear up the appropriate applications of what knives you have or may want to acquire. I'll get you started and we'll make something tasty out of the cuts we produce.
Training & Qualifications
I am a trained chef with a AAAS in Culinary Arts from WCCI in Walla Walla, WA. I'm located in Tri-Cities WA.
