Kaher Ahmad holds a bachelor's degree in International Criminal Justice from CUNY John Jay College and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Emergency Management from John Jay College. After completing his bachelor's degree, Kaher worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency as a disaster survivor assistant where he assisted disaster survivors during the 2016 Louisiana Flood and Hurricane Matthew in Florida. Kaher is also spending the summer working with Visiting Nurse Service of New York to create an emergency preparedness cooperate curriculum and is a graduate research assistant to Dr. Nemeth at John Jay College. Kaher will serve as the fellow at the NYC Department of Education.
