I have been encasulating mothers' placentas for four years. I have heard overwhelmingly positive feedback from moms who have consumed their placenta to help soothe the baby blues through the postpartum period and would love to share my skill with the community.
Typically I complete the process from start to finish in my client's kitchen. I can pick it up at the hospital or birth center if necessary. I begin by preparing the placenta using the Chinese Medicine method in which the placenta is steamed and dehydrated. I arrive 12-24 hrs later to finish the capsules and answer any questions.
I will also include an umbilical cord keepsake in the shape of a heart and a placenta print upon request.
