My journey to Pilates and bodywork started as a dancer, when I tore a ligament in my knee. I credit the great work by my surgeon and the fantastic training by my Pilates instructor with the professional dancing I did after my injury. After several years as a freelance dancer, I turned to Pilates as career in which I could help others get out of pain and back to the activities they love.
Three years ago, I began studying Neurokinetic Therapy as a way to assess and treat movement dysfunctions. The amazing results I've seen with NKT led me to massage therapy as a way to learn more, and be able to treat people hands on.
I am the proud owner of Corpo Kinetic Pilates & Wellness Studio in the Upper Telegraph area of Oakland. In my spare time, I explore California's great natural beauty on hikes and camping trips, go for runs in my neighborhood, and enjoy a good meal and some craft beer with my fiance.
