I will use the skills I've been learning at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration to provide relaxing, therapeutic touch. I am not (yet) a certified Rolf structural integrator. These are non-specific Rolfing techniques and I do not guarantee improvement in posture or pain relief. This service provides an opportunity for me to practice my skills and an opportunity for you to have a mindful and relaxing experience. I'll address a few frequently-asked questions:

Q: Do I have to remove clothing? / Is clothing optional?
A: Non-revealing undergarments, including a bra or swimsuit, is required for all clients. As a client, you are never required to remove clothing; however, I may recommend that an area of the body be bare, or draped with a sheet, in order to work most effectively.

Q: Is this another name for a massage?
A: This service is not a massage! As a student of Rolfing Structural Integration, I am learning to practice a brand of bodywork, Rolfing Structural Integration, which has its own methods and desired outcomes. Skills I'm practicing include palpation, slow glides, sensing for muscular and myofascial availability, and therapeutic relationship communication.

Q: Is this a sexual service?
A: This is a NOT a sexual service, and solicitations for sex or erotic touch will be reported. Both of us, as client and practitioner, have the right to end the session at any time and for any reason. I will end the session immediately if a request is made for inappropriate touch.
