I will take a set of songs you provide, and I will do some fancy music science to them in order to turn them into one coherent project. A CD ought to tell a story, and to do that, it needs some consistent main characters- namely, the pieces of your song! A CD where the drums sound like metal cans in one song and like wooden doors in the next feels disjointed, but a well mastered project feels consistent. A CD where the volume level changes radically from song to song disrupts the listening experience, but a well mastered project lets your friends, fans, and customers relax and enjoy the listening experience.
The process takes a different length each time, because the way things are recorded and mixed have a huge influence over this. Some things simply can't be fixed by the time we've reached this stage of the production process (but many can!). I will be efficient and communicative throughout the process, and when I am done you will have a finished project you can send to the presses!

I have been mixing and mastering music for nearly 10 years now. I try to learn something new with every project.
