About Jordan Metzler

I am a Creative Movement (dance!) and Yoga Instructor. I help bodies from all walks of life unlock their full movement potential through a Vinyasa Yoga practice with dance techniques sprinkled in for ...more dynamic results. My own journey began with the desire to move from a very young age. I have been a classically trained dancer my whole life; I was always looking to test my physical abilities and had a strong desire to feel free in my self-expression. My love and passion for dance eventually led me to begin teaching so I could share the joy of movement with others. In my time as a dancer and a teacher, I was introduced to yoga. It was one of the best and hardest things I had ever done. It allowed me to access my muscles on a deeper level, and forced me to connect my movement to my breath. The teacher in me wanted to know more so I could share the benefits of yoga with others-- with that said, I became a certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor. With my combined knowledge and experience in dance and yoga, I have been able to help others find their movement potential though building strength and flexibility in a safe, and welcoming class environment.
