Hey! I'm Jon! I am in the process of switching my life around. I spent 10 years chasing a career I didn't like, doing a job I didn't believe in and all to the detriment of my own health. I decided to change that and I left everything at the beginning of 2017 and attempted to thru hike the Appalachian Trail. I made it ~850 miles before money got too tight but I learned a lot about long distance hiking and being in the backwoods. I hiked solo for about half of my journey, and even built a home made raft to float down the Shenandoah River where I ultimately ended my journey. For 5 months straight I hiked through the mountains. Now that I am back home and have a fresh start I am investing my time in myself and figuring out how to work from home. In addition to my hiking experience, I am also well versed in windows PCs, I like to build them when I have extra money. I am a gamer at heart, and play PC almost exclusively these days. When I graduated high school I started a DJ business but quickly fell into just doing karaoke night for the money. Now I am attempting to reignite that passion for creating music and teaching myself how to use a digital audio workstation. I would love to meet some like minded people out there that I could vibe with or learn something from. The only other hobby I can think of sharing is my interest in massage therapy, I am not a professional in any manner but I do give a very good massage. I have studied various techniques since I was 17 (over a decade ago) and also developed my own. I would be very interested in learning from a certified masseuse.
