Lesson on reading Rhythm in music

If you'd like to learn to read music, it's important to start with rhythms. In this lesson, I'll teach you how to count rhythms involving the following notes and rests:
- whole
- half and dotted half
- quarter and dotted quarter
- eighth
- sixteenth

You will also learn how to make sense of time signatures.

After giving examples, I'll provide practice rhythms for you to read, and you'll be one step closer to music literacy! :)

Training & Qualifications


- pianist since age 2
- member of four district-level honor choirs and three state-level ones
