I have 24 years of experience working as a professional writer and editor. I can help you through any and all stages of your creative project, from brainstorming ideas to writing to copy editing.
I have the kind of nerdy mind that loves the technicality of editing and proofreading.🤓 My creative side thrives on concept development and putting words together.
While I’ve been widely published in magazines and newspapers, some of the works I’m most proud of are poems and limericks (dirty or otherwise) that I’ve written for friends and family.
Training & Qualifications
My experience ranges from writing for Fodor’s Travel Guides to proofreading a 600-page book to reporting on arts and entertainment for Phoenix New Times, where I won three Arizona Press Club Awards for headline and short feature writing.
I have a BA in Journalism, with a minor in English Literature, from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. I discovered my love of creative writing thanks to my fifth-grade teacher and was first published at age 15 in two national poetry journals. I’m currently writing a children’s book.
