I will teach you how to safely can pickles or jam (your choice) at your home or mine. I will provide all equipment and you will keep all the lovely jars of canned goods, as well as instructions and recipes. Session should last at least 2 hours, and if we run over on time I won't count it.
Training & Qualifications
I have been canning my own pickles, jams, and pasta sauces for 4 years. I took a canning class with Kelly McVicker of McVicker Pickles in SF. I will complete my San Mateo County food preservation certification in the Fall.
Availability & Preferences
Friday and Saturdays preferred, but we can try to work out another time if needed.
