Help learning MCU/PIC Programming
I am getting bogged down learning how to program Microchip PICs. Learning C has been a challenge, then add the complexity of the chips. So far I have managed to write some programs that work, but then I hit some major snag. I keep trudging along throwing most of my spare time into this, knowing that some day soon that revelation will come, and writing control code will flow.
I have been using IC16f690, but it was RMW issues.
Now hacking away at PIC18F46K22, since it is latched and has 35 I/O which is a little over what I need for a basic logic operation.
I have PICKIT 3, and a PCB I soldered that can accommodate up to 20 Pin DIP, and the fatter guys up to 40.
I also have a 20 input/output board I made, with pull ups.
