I am a creative, kind, mindful, brave, authentic and honest individual with a great sense of humour who strives to operate with Integrity, Wisdom and Compassion in all my areas of my life. I believe i...n Peace, Love & Understanding! After a life altering experience I returned to University at the age of 40 and earned my B.A and B.Ed. [Major: Canadian History - Minor: English] I have worked with at risk youth and marginalized individuals in the Core Area of Winnipeg for 30 years. I hope to travel the world with my teaching degree now that my children are older. As well as being a teacher I have a strong background in social services, recreation, first aid/CPR and the hospitality & retail industry. I took woodworking for 5 years in public school and know how to swing a hammer. I have skills and experience in building, baking and gardening. I have a 'Get Er Done in a Joyful Way' kind of attitude and I am not afraid of a challenge or the 'Messy Jobs that Need to be Done but No One Wants T o Do'. One of my Mantra's is "Do what needs to be done , when it needs to be done...even if you don't want to do it" and another one is "Breathe, Relax and Go with the Flow". The two help me to stay Zen like but get shit done!
