Soul care taking

25

25 per unit - - Posted Jul 06, 2017

Take time to come and comfort the ill, the sad, the lonely. That includes spending quality time with a loved one who is on bed rest, hospice, a nursing home, in the hospital or a mental institution, a parent or grand parent who has alzheimers or dementia or cancer and just needs someone around to cheer them up when you can't be. Make them meals when they can't do it themselves. Read to them. Anything their heart desires... Within reason of course.

I also specialize in the children department. Having a child who has been in children's mercy i would be more than willing to be the person to come in and watch over your little one while you take a breather from the day and night hospital stays. I have friends who have lost their children to diseases and i know that all parent who have children with failing health want is for their child to have a friend and someone around to make them laugh and smile. Because we all know no matter much of a super mom or dad you are you just can't do it alone.
If you have a child too young for school and you have errands to run or need a day out, i will be there. You have a kiddo who needs some tutoring, i'm there.

I am literally capable of handling any situation that you may need assistance with when it comes to children or your folks or grandparents.

Odds and ends i may also contribute to helping with: painting, moving, hanging drywall, softball help your younger children, cooking, reading lessons, ged help.

Training & Qualifications

I am a mother, a daughter and a grand daughter. My own child has been hospitalized and as an infant had a feeding tube. My grandfather was terminally ill and i helped take care of him when i could. My aunt has cancer and several children i know have cancer or have been lost to the disease. I myself have a rare auto immune disease. I know what it's like to be scared. To be depressed. Lost. Left out. I know what it's like to lose someone you love. I know what it's like to try to live your life out of a wheelchair. I know what it takes to teach a child with disabilities and how to calm an adult with them too. You can have all of the qualifications in the world. But none of them mean a thing to the person who is suffering. The one thing they want is someone they can relate to. Someone to bond with and someone to make them smile. And that is what i can offer.
