I have ten years experience working in the medical field, including eight years as a combat medic in the U.S. Army and near two years as a medical assistant. I've worked with diverse groups of people in diverse settings and conditions. My experience ranges from working in the austere setting of Afghanistan, treating under fire, to working in an in-patient amputee ward and out-patient allergy clinic at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, to treating in a sports medicine medical office building in downtown San Francisco. I am fluently bilingual: Spanish and English. I thoroughly enjoy working with people and helping them feel better. I like to organize the unorganized. Give me limited resources and I will make them abundant. I thrive in difficult situations. I love learning new skills and then mastering them.
