I have always felt a spiritual connection to the blue heron and red tailed hawk, and have been utilizing my love for drawing as a way to connect with these animals and contemplate them in a deeper way. There is an abundance of wisdom in nature, and animals can be our teachers, messengers, and our healers. Is there an animal that you feel a significant resonance with? One that crosses your path often, or one that when you see, you know you're in the right place at the right time? I'd love to make a drawing for you to honor this spirit guide and bring its energy into your home. I'll take time to meditate on your spirit animal and really try to bring its presence forth to you!

Using a reference photo, I draw animals in a way that portrays their personality and wisdom and also incorporate my own style into the illustration. I make a design that uses many circular and spiral forms, giving a sort of cosmic and bubbly, and also mysterious style to the drawing. If there is a certain image other than an animal that you'd like to focus on, (for instance a ship, a tree, a flower,) I'd be happy to draw that as well. However, I do NOT do pet portraits!! ;) My preferred medium is black, silver, and gold fine tipped pens, and also use color pencil, prismacolor markers, and acrylic paint. I usually use a standard 8.5 x 11" artist paper unless you would like a different size.
