Knitting lessons. ANY skill level
I know you can watch knitting videos on Youtube, but it's more fun to learn in person. Plus if you are really stuck, you can get one-on-one feedback.
I will teach according to your skill level. If you want to start at the very beginning, great! If knitting patterns are difficult for you to read, I can show you what it means; I can read charts or written instructions. If you want to try socks, but they terrify you, I will help you each step of the way.
15 simbi for 30 minutes knitting help at a Fargo Public Library (it's a quiet, central place to meet). If you have kids, we can meet at the Wiggle room at the Main library.
You will need to provide your own yarn and needles. I can help point you in the right direction if you've never bought either before. Most knitters learn on a medium weight yarn.
Training & Qualifications
I have been knitting for 6 years. I've made hats, socks, sweaters, and a variety of other projects. I've loved learning different techniques over the years.
I am confident that I can help whether you are a beginner or wanting to try more advanced techniques.
Availability & Preferences
Weekdays and evenings. Not available on Sundays.

About Janice Eckworth
I have a variety of interests and craft skills. I enjoy art, astronomy, baking, beading, calligraphy, crochet, drawing, etymology, genealogy, knitting, kumihimo, movies, nail art, origami, painting, ...piano, puzzles, quilting, reading, scrapbooking, sewing, and ukulele. (If you noticed that I ordered my list alphabetically, you can image the attention to detail I put into my projects.) I have been knitting for 6 years. I've made hats, socks, sweaters, and a variety of other projects. I've loved learning different techniques over the years. Knitting with a different color yarn in each hand is my current favorite. I know how to knit continental (aka picking) and English (throwing or flicking). I have seen 1400+ movies. One of my services is movie recommendations. I know how hard it can be to find something fun. I will not recommend anything I haven't seen; nor recommend something I wouldn't be willing to watch again. I'm also a parent to two Autistic boys (6 and 4). They are clever, happy little boys, so I'm either very lucky or a decent parent (I think it's both).show moreOpen to other proposals
