Meet Iedah Simone. A girl from humble beginnings with courageous, inspiring women woven into her heritage. Iedah Simone’s very foundation is built upon the meaning of her name. From forging her indepe...ndence as a lone teenager in a foreign land, to a failed marriage, an unwell child; to professional experiences in Retail, Public Health and Education; to redundancy and her journey to becoming a PhD candidate and entrepreneur; it’s all in the name: Iedah - she who rebuilds and Simone – to listen, hearken or hear. The very foundation of my existence. I can chart my life’s journey; from discovering and living the meaning of my name, to the point of accepting that my purpose is to use my experiences to enrich others. I have endured continuous struggles to learn to listen to the power within; to rebuild and reinvent my life; and more significantly, to help others on a similar journey to realise their power and potential.
