Training & Qualifications

After 20 years meticulously studying music theory, professional audio design and working professionally with the cutting edge of video technology, I would like to branch away from corporate freelance and maybe what I do can be bartered for what you or someone else here can do.

Availability & Preferences

I am usually available between my day job a/v shifts. Hit me up with your concept and we can collaborate to create your vision for everyone to experience.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About iAM _

Studying music theory circa 1997 (independent percussion via orchestra, ensemble, jazz and marching bands) as well as piano and cello lessons until 2003. From 2001-2005 began playing in punk, metal an...d experimental bands as a drummer, opening for such bands as The Low Budgets (what was left of The Dead Milkmen before their 'reunion' things) as well as doing under-age battle-of-the-bands, paid family parties (not my own family) and literal garage shows. In 2005 I picked up electric instruments such as guitar, bass, synthesizer, working into ukulele, accordion, glockenspiel as well as learning the art of 'acoustic noise' AND writing/recording my own songs, which are all posted online, well, the better ones. In 2006, began performing at open mic nights with ukulele and a trash picked nylon string guitar. In 2007 I began playing paid gigs I booked my self in Philadelphia opened for She & Him (I don't really like them, but yeah, it happened). Ran around the country from 2007-2009 playing places East, West, North & South of PA. Early 2009 attained certification as a piano technician via the Piano Technicians Guild in Portland, Oregon. Late 2009 commenced the first National and linear tour down the East Coast to New Orleans, up through to Chicago, Illinois and back through to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 2010 served 4 tours around the Nation with a week stint to Nova Scotia, Canada. 2011 was serious money making time, working in an office, booking shows for touring bands and playing what remained of 'consciousness' to perform shows in the tri-state area, also picking up live electronics and DJing equipment as the inner fight of transition into the professional sound making industry ceased (I know what people consider electronics). 2012 endowed me with the negotiated position as 'venue director' for 3 spaces as well as doing week stints playing in neighboring cities/states (anywhere 3 hours away). 2013 saved up for school and new gear. 2014 = west coast tour. # (not <3)show more
