About Gabriela Taccir

Gabriela is an illustrator and graphic designer with an affinity for science who is available for work both remotely and in the Cleveland area. Portfolio website: http://www.gabrielataccir.com ...Originally from San Jose, California, Gabriela moved to Ohio in order to follow her two passions of art and science. Currently a Bio-Medical Art major with an emphasis in Graphic Design at the Cleveland Institute of Art, she works towards combining science and medical based subject matter with audience-geared illustrations. As an illustrator, she interned at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History in the entomology department. Gabriela now works as a contract scientific illustrator for the Illustration Lab based in the Netherlands as well as for a number of local Cleveland clients such as the Steinmetz Lab based in University Hospital. She also works as a seasonal art instructor at the Art Hub Academy in Saratoga, California. When not working on scientific and medical illustrations, she enjoys creating adorable illustrations for stickers, t-shirt designs, and picture books as well as being active in a number of student life activities.show more
