Web Development
25
Hello! I'm offering website development for those in need, whether business or personal. I get the struggle, when you're trying to get your story out there, or advertise your business, then comes in the surprisingly and annoyingly difficult obstacle that is creating a legitimate website, one that Google will potentially put on that oh-so important first page of a search.
Anything that involves myself paying for a service or using one of my services like Stripe or in-depth API calls will generally cost the monthly service fee plus 25 percent, or nothing depending on overage penalty policies.
Other than that, I have premade templates, premade templates adapted from other premade templates, and so on.
Content for the site needs to be ready, otherwise we will just look at a bunch of Lorem Ipsums and pictures of things we've never seen, or people neither of us know.
Hosting services can be paid for on your part, or to me if you want me to keep the site maintained.
Wordpress development can also be discussed, but given a lot of extenuating circumstances, I don't know if I can offer that for free; the added stress of Wordpress alone can be too much haha.
Training & Qualifications
Full-time student, beginning freelance designer--graphic and web--and starting my own non-profit focused on post-secondary student support.
Ask most programmers and/or web developers, and they'll tell you that a self-taught developer is generally going to be better than a school-taught one.
Not those individuals faults, but if you've ever taken a graphic or website design class, it's easy to see why.
Availability & Preferences
We can talk about that. I'm hearing up to start to mid-semester 8-week courses along with the two I have right now, and preparing for transfer to a 4-year, so if it's something that's immediate, make sure you have everything ready, in terms of content, hosting or payment to me for hosting and so on.
Other than that, I can work around and to most any timeframe.
I still know nothing about Simbi, so let's talk. I genuinely like to help others, but I need to start helping and being helped in return.
