An incredible ride in the Bay Area and NYC on the dot com wave afforded me a soft cushion to indulge myself in the arts. The week after leaving a Vice President position at the leading internet measurement company at the time, I sold three paintings in an art show. My new found passion as an artist led me to Hawaii, where I had the encounter with color master Dick Nelson. Under his guidance, I packed everything I could discover about color theory in a simple puzzle. "Huedoku is the rosetta stone of color," says Nelson. If only his teacher, the legendary Josef Albers could see how technology has afforded the modern artist and designer to unlock the mysteries of color.
