About Erin Morvant

Erin is a certified yoga instructor, e-RYT 200 and RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance. Under the guidance of her primary teacher, Becky Gelatt, Erin became a senior teacher and faculty member at the Yoga ...Center of Louisiana offering Ha~Ta~Raj Yoga (Hatha-Tantra-Raja). She has studied in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya's students, including B.K.S. Iyengar, T.K.V. Desikachar, and Gary Kraftsow, founder of American Viniyoga Institute. Erin is currently a student at the College of Yoga Therapy and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. With her strong focus on adaptive yoga, Erin strives to help people make realistic life-long changes to improve their health and overall wellbeing. Her Viniyoga- and Iyengar-inspired classes offer a balancing sequence of postures, and combined with breath work, meditation, evidence-based relaxation techniques and joint mobilization practices designed to prepare the body to practice without strain, Erin’s classes are appropriate for beginners and seasoned students alike.
