In 2018, after years of living and working in Barcelona, Catalonia, I moved to Cagliari, Sardinia -- the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea (population @154K)-- and stayed there for a year. Then relocated to the tiny coastal town of Salou, Tarragona on Spain's Gold Coast. After six months, I returned to Italy, but this time to the Riviera, to live 6 months in the highlands of Rapallo overlooking the Ligurian Sea. I was fortunate enough to spend the first wave quarantine/confinement in that place. After six months, wanting to explore a new province in Spain, I have come to Pontevedra, Galicia, where I find myself now.
