I am an Arizona native with two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Arizona State University, one in art history and one in museum studies. I also spent my freshman year in ASU's graphic design program. However, the majority of my job experience lies in marketing.
I began as a Marketing Assistant for a veteran realtor in the Phoenix area. In this position, designed and assembled collateral and utilized e-marketing services to boost sales. While I was attending Arizona State University in 2010, I started at Pearson as an intern. I was then made a part-time employee assisting the Pearson Digital Learning regional marketing team and marketing services team in Chandler.
In February of 2013, I stepped into a role as a Marketing Specialist with K-12 Technology. In this capacity, I assisted with regional marketing projects and provided marketing support for the PowerSchool ISV partner program. Some other tasks included scheduling and deploying all marketing emails for K-12 Technology, coordinating all general marketing webinars, and maintaining spreadsheets for both. In addition, I created and managed K-12 Technology's customer reference program, interviewed users, and wrote stories of their success with PowerSchool and Schoolnet.
Early in 2014, I joined the Marketing Communications team as a Results Writer. In this role, I told stories of customer success across K-20, emphasizing how Pearson solutions improve lives through learning.
Now, I am a Project Manager in the Marketing Programs department. In this position, I assist with the planning, creation, and execution of marketing initiatives and collateral for tradeshows, strategic partnerships, and varied needs for our higher education and institutional markets.
