About Martin Blankenship

Hello, my name is Dr. Martin Blankenship, I am a doctor of Chiropractic with more than 20 years in practice. I was born in Tampa and began to practice back in ’95 –’96. At that time, I had the op...portunities to live and practice chiropractic outside of the USA. I have worked in England, Northern Ireland and several places across Australia. Upon resuming practice in Florida in 2016, I noticed that not many chiropractors do traditional manual adjusting! While I do practice Drop Table and Activator as well, these gentler techniques are usually reserved for gentler patients such as children, elderly and patients that have a preference for it. Manual adjusting gives great results in a quick timeframe and that is what we love to do at Family Chiropractic Plus. I am also fully trained in extremity adjusting and work on most extremity issues – even the nose! Yes, I practice an uncommon technique called Nasal Specific where we directly address nasal function and can help all sorts of nasal problems. We are dedicated, experienced and above all passionate about helping each individual patient be their best with chiropractic care. We have physiotherapy modalities in the office as well as massage therapy and nutritional counseling. Digital X-ray facilities are on site so there should be no inconvenience for any patient we see. We are on Central Avenue in St Petersburg, halfway between downtown St Pete and the Gulf. We are easily accessible to public transport for patients that cannot drive.
