Anatomy Drawing Lesson
For 1 hour, I will help you understand the human anatomy when drawing the figure. Do you like drawing people or characters but feel like sometimes they don't look right?
Well, it might be anatomical. You probably know what looks right because we see people all the time, but knowing how to draw it is a different thing completely. I'd like to help you better understand the human figure and how to draw it by studying the underlying structure that gives shape to the body.
Here's the plan:
1. Discuss what you want to draw
2. Review Skeletal structure
3. Review Muscular structure
4. Review Surface anatomy
I can draw over the top of your drawings to help you see what you've got right already and areas to improve. While there is a lot science to it, figure drawing and anatomy is still very much an art and there is always room for artistic license, but it's always good to know the rules before you break them.
I can also refer you to a number of apps, resources and books to supplement your learning.
