Holistic Coaching is a partnership where coaches support and encourage their clients to come to their own understanding about their lives. Its philosophy views the entire person as an integrated whole, understanding that all facets of a person's life are inextricably linked. In addition to commonly discussed elements of mind/body/spirit, other important life factors are also taken into consideration including health, relationships, finance and work/career.

Radiant Health Institute has created a unique offering for those interested in helping others to lead lives of true authenticity and passion. Unlike many distance-learning coach training programs where the majority (if not all) of the training is done via phone, this Holistic Coach training & certification program is a 100% face-to-face classroom experience. This class-as-community approach deeply enhances the learning process and promotes a warm, interpersonal bonding experience for all program participants.

This training is perfect for the empathetic person with a desire to make a true difference in the lives of others. If, in the past, you have continuously found yourself in the role of confidant, encourager or sounding board, you may be a natural as a holistic coach! In addition to being an "up and coming" career field, holistic coach training provides a true option for entrepreneurship via a wonderful pathway of personal growth for BOTH yourself and your clients. Intended participants include those who care about others, those with a humanitarian spirit and those who are interested in supporting others in finding their way through life's challenges and celebrations.

In addition, the training is conducted over an 10-day period (typically over two different weeks one month apart), allowing students to complete their education with minimal time away from family, etc. Class days run from 9:30am to 5:30pm with 65 total hours of classroom instruction included in the program. International trainings are typically an 10-day destination experience.

Real-time coaching demonstrations are of utmost educational value to our trainees as a part of this comprehensive curriculum. Our highly experienced, insightful and humorous facilitators offer students holistic coaching "on the fly" and coach these "clients" in front the the entire group to show the coaching process up close and personal. This is a nuts-and-bolts process, clearly showcasing the power, simplicity and philosophy of coaching. This routinely gives on-looking trainees major "A-Ha!" moments and is a foundation of the training program. Students are privileged to "see the work" as it happens during genuine, emotional and sometimes gritty coaching sessions - always with questions and follow-up discussion at the end. Students also have the option of coaching each other with critiques following from class facilitators and fellow students.

Program content includes: the art of active listening, boundaries & body language, coaching vs. counseling, holistic paradigms, self-discovery, creating sacred spaces, taking the client's lead, asking vs. telling, goals & accountability, authenticity & presence, setting up a private practice, and self-marketing. Extensive support is provided to trainees long-term after certification classes including continuing education, monthly demo calls, quarterly Demo Days (in Nashville) and free design & hosting of a coaching website.

Our Holistic Coach training now includes ProCoach Academy, a brilliant 10-week marketing course to ensure you know how to get clients once you're certified - (at no additional cost).

Radiant Health Institute's master trainers include RHI founder, Dez Stephens. As a long-time marketing coach, Dez Stephens spends a significant amount of focus helping students to understand the all-important issues of business building and private practice development.

If certification requirements are met (see below), students can look forward to becoming a Certified Holistic Coach through Radiant Health Institute. The certification process allows experts to enhance what they are already doing to further support their clients in specialty areas. Some trainees choose to identify themselves in areas of specialization such as wellness coaching, relationship coaching, grief coaching, business coaching, etc.

Training includes 65 hours of classroom learning. The additional work required for certification includes approximately 20 hours of homework and 20 hours of practicums (coaching "real" people) and the demonstrated ability to display mastery of basic coaching principles.
