With this service you will be getting a one hour hand drumming lesson where we will go over hand position, different base percussion techniques, tuning and care of your instrument, and then learn a few traditional African rhythms.
Having your own drum is preferred but I have extra if need be. This service can be provided as far north as Philly, as far West as Frederick MD, and as far south as Alexandria VA.
Training & Qualifications
I am a hand percussionist going on 7 years now and in that time I have trained with many different performers with my lead teacher being a man named Patch. I am a drummer for several festivals through the year including Playa del Fuego where I run the drum conclave.
